Children Discounts
Children
For most Amtrak routes, children are entitled to travel at 50% off the standard adult fare.
This discount is only available, however, for up to two children for every adult passenger booked in a given transaction. Children exceeding that 2:1 ratio must travel at the standard adult fare. (Please note that infants (younger than age 2) do not count as "children" for the purpose of determining an acceptable adult/child ratio.)
Please note:
Children traveling alone are not entitled to a children's discount.
The children's discount is valid on weekend Acela Express service only.
