Ticketing Options
Amtrak requires that each passenger have a ticket to travel. The itinerary that is emailed at the time of purchase is NOT a ticket.
Reservations processed through Amtrak Railagent will have one of there ticketing options available. Please review the following information so you are familiar with your ticketing options.
Quik-Trak Kiosk
You can pick up tickets at Quik-Trak kiosks located at major Amtrak stations. Use your credit card to activate the kiosk and enter your reservation number. The Quik-Trak kiosk will print your tickets and you'll be on your way.
Staffed Amtrak Station
Ticket clerks at staffed Amtrak Stations will issue tickets that have been reserved through Amtrak Railagent. Please be prepared to present your passport as well as the itinerary that was emailed to you at the time that you completed your transaction through Amtrak Railagent.
Onboard Conductor Delivery
In isolated situations you may be required to pick up tickets for Amtrak Railagent reservations onboard the train. This situation will apply if the ticket office is closed at the time of departure; and no other ticketing option is available such as a Quick-Trak Kiosk.
Determining eligibility: Based on you itinerary, our online booking system will determine your eligibility for onboard pick-up.
Passengers should have their passports available and a copy of the itinerary to claim tickets from the conductor.
